Musings....10/26/2023 While this week hasn't contained too many surprises, it has been taxing and tiresome. And hopefully I will get to rest some on Saturday.
My precious 91 year old grandmother has broken her wrist, bless her. So I am keeping her in the highest of thoughts. She's a pistol. I've been enjoying Dave Hurwitz's review's on CD's/albums. What a brilliant and entertaining gentleman. Today I watched his reviews of the best versions of Ravel's "Bolero." Such a great list, and I have compiled some of the listings to listen to. I love the Bolero. I would like to play the Pierre Cochereau Bolero- but I don't want to pay that much for it. He's dead. What is he going to do with that .8 cent royalty? I'm excited for my TKS Halloween concert.... Music such as: The Serpent- Lee Hoiby Toccata and Fugue in Dm- JS Bach The Pink Panther Kojak Murder She Wrote This Is Halloween Dallas Days of Our Lives Suggestion Diabolique- Prokofiev Revolutionary Etude- Chopin The Young and the Restless Theatre of Blood Theme from Candyman Autumn Leaves September Song The Ghost & Mr Chicken Thriller..... Such goodies! Gotta jet-
