All of my friends are busy, traveling, or dying this season it seems like.
I'm having a lot of work done at my house. I'm enjoying spending time here at Maw Maw's blogging, and canva-ing, and working on my website. I feel sort of like a cheap Liberace. I'm typing from a beautiful 200 year old desk, alas, mine wasn't a Czar Nicolas item. Henry's eyes are a mess. So, I've got an appointment for him on the 29th or something, or 31st, I don't know. But, it's not far away. I'm doing this last project (last of me carrying my own equipment) of collaboration in which we will be "Romancing the Flute." My friend Beverly always does a lovely show, resplendent with many guests, friends, visual engagements, and a most varied program. It's especially fun to gather with some of the most seasoned of Huntsville's musicians such as Beverly, though always, the icing on the cake, is to simply be in the presence of the Uber Genius and Great Sage of Life and Music: Terry L. Cornett. Playing Frederick Swann's "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" on Sunday for the Postlude, and for the prelude, Charles Callahan's treatment of "Gift of Finest Wheat" (You Satisfy the Hungry Heart) Onwards and Upwards!
